Friday the 13th

A beautiful Saturday morning, as i wake up to my daily routine, playing Dan Fogelbergs' album in the background. Snow has started melting, and you can actually start feeling the heat of sun rays. I like the temperature it is right now, shedding off those thick fluffy jackets, wearing something that suits me more. Intend to relax today, though that wasn't the initial plan. I had prepared myself for a whole day of sports as today was suppose to be our Interbatch games. I had joined 3 games altogether and was sort of geared up for the fun. Towards the end of Friday night, some batches had went off to train the sports hall and most had started cooking their dishes that they were suppose to sell during the games. Few stalls are usually opened during games, but this time around, since the participants involve almost everyone starting off 1st years to 6th years and it was suppose to be a whole day event, everyone had decided to sell something and to sell alot of it. Food ranging from cupcakes, fruit tarts and curry puffs to Nasi lemak, Roti John and Pasembor. Everyone was prepared for a whole day of sports and food. I know i was.. My plan was just to play the games I've joined (handball, futsal and netball) then stuff my face with each type of food. Plus, someone gave me the idea of selling my most Deli-Si-Ous egg tarts. I Had gotten all the stuff ready to make my Eggies, thank God right when i was about to start making them, the news had reached my ears. Phew!

Okay, I haven't mentioned what the news was right. Hoho. The news that would have all Makcik Gerai fainting and those sports participants who have trained for this day crying. Haha.
What a load of crap.

RUBELLA

Of all viruses..

But this of course has enlightened most of us, for all these while, we've had the impression that Rubella virus only affected teenage girls and babies because back in Malaysia, only jabs were given to the girls because of the whole pregnancy and Ig thing. But nurses giving free jabs were nagging saying that Malaysian system is wrong, and guys should have had the jabs when they were in school as well.

Anyway, the whole night yesterday was mainly everyone trying to promote their food and everyone else eating all sorts of varieties of it. I wish i hadn't get involved in that whole cyclone of food selling and buying and eating. Upon finding out that the games had been canceled, my mind was set on movies, bag of chips and beer, instead i found myself helping others on promoting their food, going door to door, floor to floor for food delivaries and end up helping people i depise. The sort of people who are not friendly and didn't even thank me for my assistance. I went back to my room only at 3am, tired and having headaches.

Friday the 13th indeed.

i've heard even sinister rumours about rubella. supposedly the vaccine was distributed to developing countries as a way the west can control us.

it's just getting more paranoid u know...
