Bb is just the most adorable person I know.
She messaged me.
"Don't be mad, dear. I have something I have to be honest with you about. I didnt wanted to tell you but I kept feeling so guilty."
Now, my face was cringing and I was cracking my head, trying to read her thoughts. I prepared myself for the worst and believe me the worst I could think of was maybe some guy she used to have some sort of chemistry with confessed his feelings for her or that she flirted with someone from her workplace or she got drunk and did something stupid with someone.
I made her promise it didnt mean anything to her. She did.
I braced myself.
"I dreamt, I kissed someone."
"Okayyyyy,". In my mind I was thinking to myself, please don't let it be that guy. Please, please don't let it be that guy.
"I think it's Heath Ledger. Or Tom Cruise. Or Shane from the L word. I can't remember who it was".
-_-'''
"I was watching some videos yesterday and the they were in those videos. Hmm.. maybe the person I kissed was a combination of all 3."
And as she said that, all I could think of was the person had to be a woman, who is dead and must have been really short.
I laughed to myself and just said Okay. I wanted her to go on about how guilty she was and how I was the only one and that she'll never ever do anything of that sort to hurt me. She apologized profusely. I told her it was alright. It was only a celebrity after all.
But maybe I was too quick to let her off, cause she took it as a green light for kissing celebrities because to her, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. Let's make a list of celebrities we are allowed to make out with she said. I thought about it for awhile, but in my head I couldn't think of anyone I wanted to kiss other than her. There Are perhaps a few celebrities that I would like to see strip dance in front of me, but to make out with... hmmm.
Just can't think of anyone other than you, dear. Unless...... someone like, say, Sarah Shahi comes knocking at my door and throws herself at me, then it would be a completely different story all together, wouldn't it? =p

Her trip part 2
I woke up the next day, with the biggest smile on my face. Wanting to make sure she would be well taken care of, I rushed to make her breakfast. She was more eager to shower me with gifts (and when I say shower, i mean pouring down). My baby is my santa. She knew what I wanted. She knew what I needed. She got exactly what I had in mind. It was 3 before we(my friends as well) were all ready to head off to Mega Khimki which is a mall all the way up north of Moscow. Before that, we had to stop by the office of the hostel to arrange a guest room for her. I had forgotten that the office doesn't open on weekends. She was upset. It's only been hours since she got to Moscow, and I had made her cry. It broke my heart but there was nothing I could do. I had booked the room earlier but because of the sudden change of plans I didn't reconfirm with the director of the hostel nor did I pay for the guest room. She wanted so much to spend some alone time with me but there was nothing else I could do. Looking on the bright side, we didnt have to pay for her stay here plus we did get to spend some alone time together, but that's another story. We walked down to the first floor, and waited for the last member of our gang. I could tell she was still mad at me, so I suggested waiting outside so she could play with the snow. She stayed silent while I took her outside. I convinced her to make a snowball and throw it at me just to vent out her dissapointment. Don't think it worked though. Anyway, my friends came later on and we made our way to the metro. I loved being in the metro. Most of the time I made sure we took a different wagon from my friends just so I can hold her without them finding out about us. Didn't think she understood what my agenda was because she kept waving over to them.
Upon arriving at Mega, we immediately started walking towards Starbucks. It opened just a few months ago and everyone here is just excited about it. I on the other hand have no idea why. The staff there were really friendly. Baby was really anxious to buy those Moscow Starbucks mug for her sister and kept on pestering me to buy her a Starbucks teddy. I agreed at first thinking that the price was 250rubles but upon paying for it, the cashier told us it was actually double the price written on the tag. Stupid people. We ended up not buying anyway, but we did stop by this really cute shop selling marshmallows. Baby was excitedly picking the ones she wanted. Yeah, it was like a kid at a candy store. *rolls eyes =p
We parted ways with my friends because baby dragged me into this shop to see shoes. It's her passion. I must learn to respect that. HUHUHUHU. Never really been shopping with baby alone. She pulled me into all this girly shops which I swear I've never been into before. At that time I suddenly realised what it must be for my dad, shopping with my mum. And like him, I rather follow her around and carry all her stuff and do no shopping for myself. After a whole lot of walking, I decided to finally find the whereabouts of my friends. I found one of them sitting on a bench while the others went off to Ikea. And while my baby started off her girly conversation with my pal, I started looking around of some other form of entertainment, and whaddaya know. I was sitting next to this Xbox promotion set up, where they allow people to test the games. I got up and stood behind this tiny russian boy who was choosing cars for his race game. His mother suddenly came up beside me and asked me in russian if I wanted to join him since he didnt have anyone to race with. "Okay!!" hehehe. I didnt know how to work the controls as it's very much different from PlayStation's and the little boy beside me was gladly choosing my cars for me and showing me how to manouver my car. I felt old then, but who cares! We were both enjoying ourselves that when the race is over I begged his mum to let us have another round. Hahaha. She was a very nice lady. She asked me where I came from, and what I was doing in Moscow and what course I was doing. I was quite shocked to know she knows where Kuala Lumpur is. She also told me my Russian was good. Found that hard to believe.
My friends returned from Ikea upon purchasing a comforter. Our stomachs rumbled as we agreed to head back home for dinner. Baby slept on my shoulders throughout the whole journey back. She hasn't had much rest from the night before and I could see how tired she was. She snores at night, blowing air into my ears. I think I tried closing her nose to see if she would stop. That only works for awhile though. Hehe.
Dinner was packed back from sinbad. While my roomate went to get the food, me and baby decided to spend a little alone time together. Unfortunately the time we had wasn't enough for us to get very far. I really can't recall what we did after dinner but exhausted from the day we all reclined and slept, knowing tommorow would be another eventful day.

Her trip part 1
I can write this post with a rather wide ear to ear grin. She came to visit me. And it was magical. Who would have thought that I would end up with someone like her. There are times when I feel I'm not good enough for her. And there are just times that I think we're just meant to be.
She had planned to visit me last friday. Her flight was an early one and she had slept late the night before as usual, finishing off her work. She msged me the night before asking me to give her a call at 8am my time. I slept at 6am. While I was sleeping she gave me a miss call at exactly 7am. I thought that was her way of saying she had already woken up and needn't me to call her at 8. But I did either way. I called her, and she cut my call. Smiling to myself as I continued on sleeping, I was glad I had done my part in being her alarm clock. I had a good 2 hours of sleep before someone came barging into my room, asking for my credit book. And that's when I got her sms. She had missed her flight because she didnt wake up in time. My head was spinning by then. My mouth went dry and I couldn't comprehend what I just read. I called her and she said she was determined to find another flight to moscow but all of them was just too expensive and she had only so much in her savings. I cried. I'm not the type to burst open water works but with her, I always do. I was looking forward to spending time with her and knowing that my dream might just have been taken away from me was overwhelming. But knowing my baby, she was determined. She stayed at that airport for another few hours in search for a cheaper flight even though she was exhausted. Glad to say she did find a flight, which was at a so-to-say resonable price and booked it right away.
I picked her up from the airport at 4 in the morning. Amazingly enough there was a taxi driver staying at my hostel who was willing to be up at such an unearthly hour of the night to provide this service. Seeing her at the gate, really took my breath away. She was more beautiful than Aphrodite herself. I took her luggage as we walked out from the airport only to find it snowing. I still remember how excited she was even though I was shivering from the cold. I had wanted to look my best for her thus wearing only my sweater and a leather jacket. But how good could I have looked in 4 in the morning anyway. Geez. We cuddled and held hands on the way back, staring out the window at the snow falling from the night sky.
It took us an hour to get back to the hostel. At that time it was already 6.15am. Now the hostel doors closes at about 2 or 3 in the morning and opens only at 6am. And since it was already past 6 I assumed that the doors would be open. But blardee hell when we got to the doors, it was locked and we stood out in the cold for what seemed like forever. I knocked on the metal doors with a 5ruble coin I had and everytime I gave up, she would just hug me tight and kiss me saying it's alright. They did open up after a few minutes and we immediately rushed in, took the lift up to my room and jumped into bed. I had never slept so peacefully in my whole life, with one hand around her waist, and her head on the other. I remember the strong scent of her as I breathed her in. It's amazing how someone could still smell so good after a long hard day. As I held her close, I prayed that the night would never come to an end.

Of eye bags and white hair
Been having my exams these few weeks. It was the craziest 2 weeks of my life. Studying nonstop from morning to night. Trying to cram in 3 semesters worth of anatomy and histo in only a few days. When I was studying, my senior's advice of starting early kept flashing in my head. Nontheless it's all over. I did pretty well so I'm proud of myself and of my other study group members. We really pushed ourselves passing any limit that we've set. Looking back only a few days ago, it freaks me out. Sleeping only when we could read no more. Books strewn on the floor. And to keep ourselves from being bored to death and to keep us awake, we kept smoking shisha everyday. We didnt even have time to cook so for the 2 weeks, we've been living on biscuits, bread and junk food. I seriously lost a lot of weight.
Histology exam was on the 16th. The nights before exams are always the worst. The lack of sleep from the nights before really got to us. There were hallucinations, a certain extra-hyper person dancing around, whacking of own heads, and screamings when you realise you just couldn't take anymore. Exam was at 9. We studied till 8.30 in the morning and decided to head back to our own rooms to bathe, and get changed. I on the other hand couldn't take it anymore. So I slept for a good 15 mins and was surprisingly fresh after that short power nap.
Our format for the exams were as the usual. Theory questions, slides, electron micrograph pictures. Once you're done preparing for that, you answer orally. One on one with the teacher. Anatomy was the same except with the cadaver. Good thing our cadaver was in a bad shape, so we couldn't really point out much.
I managed to get good marks for both exams so I'm satisfied. Celebrated the night by going out to T.G.I.F. After a long time of not having a good meal, the Rosemary tenderloin I had really made my day. Plus I haven't eaten pork in a real long time, since my blockmates are all muslims, so I was really contented.
But this exam really got to me. I've been having a hard time falling asleep at nights and I seriously think i have more white hair now. Trying to get it all together this semester break and since baby is coming to moscow to visit, i'm getting geared up for that.
Can't wait.

hey i think he's smiling... i'll take that as a congrats from u.

What we were waiting for ...
Only the most anticipated series, long awaited for it's premier in 2008.
And since it Is 2008, Happy New Year!
Did nothing much on the eve, thus making it seem more like a Crappy New Year. My roomate broke up with her boyfriend. I was about to enter my room when I heard the person on the other side of the door plunging the key into the lock so I just continued on walking ahead down the corridor. Sniffles were heard behind me but moving in the opposite direction and I knew that it was over. My roomate seemed okay. Guess it was the right thing to do. Who's to say.
So a couple of my friends came over and we had junkfood and drinks. Played cards through the night and when we got dead bored, we decided to watch a movie. Shoot em' up, the title read. Sounded interesting, and it was. Not a very logical show but nevertheless it was a perfect use of time. Want your children to eat carrots? Make them watch this show. I especially loved the sex scene of this movie. Unlike any other typical love making scene, this one includes him dancing around the room, still pleasuring her while taking out the bad guys with just a pistol.. They must want that orgasm that badly.

But what we were waiting for is not this show. I'm talking bout the very show anticipated by most lesbians and somehow more straight people that I would imagine.

Finally!
Luck is on my side these few days and it's made me more than estatic.
I got my credits for anatomy and histology. One step closer to my final exams. We celebrated by running off to McDonald's and binging even though we were pretty much broke for the month. Watched I Am Legend with "adek" and "nenek" =p Was quite an impressive movie for such a simple story line though the ending was crap.
While watching Evan Almighty, Hantu IM-ed me, asking if I was going for the christmas bash that was on Saturday. I had planned to go but seeing as how my wallet wouldn't allow it, I decided to skip the charity event. And boy was I glad I didnt purchase the ticket for lo and behold! they had extra tickets to give away and I got THREE! Weeeeee!

Jaclyn Victor was superb as usual. She was really down to earth, hopping about without her shoes, inviting all of us to join her up on stage, and allowing us snap pictures with her. Really unfortunate that she was only in moscow for a day or two. We could have brought her around =p
------------------------
In a mood to relax since I've got the important part over and done with. Haven't been doing much these few days besides playing cards, chess and of course the highlight of my week.. Iceskating! There's a park in front of my hostel with a beautiful lake surrounded by trees. Fell down a couple of times since it's my first time and the part cleared for iceskating is not as smooth as those in the malls or what not. But over all it was good. I initally went to the park for a good morning jog which turned out to the discovery of the iceskating area. So yey! =D

Say the right words
Ayang, it's me again! Blogging in pink hehe :)
You're very frustrated now as the internet is acting up again. Le sigh.. Distance. All of a sudden I realise I'm alone this Christmas, without my sayang. And you likewise, have not had a proper Christmas for quite some time. Oh dear, this post seems really depressing. It was meant to lighten you up at this very frustrating time. I remember preparing your parcel two Christmases ago, filling it up with anything Christmas-y I could find. I really meant to do the same this year and last year, but the postal system here is very different and I'm sorry I couldn't dear. Promise we'll spend Christmas together next year, right? :) So baby, in the meantime... (some Christmas song that's been stuck in my head, restaurant keeps playing it):
Welcome to my Christmas song
I'd like to thank you for the year
So I'm sending you this Christmas card
To say it's nice to have you here
I'd like to sing about all the things
Your eyes and mind can see
So hop aboard the turntable
Oh step into Christmas with me, year
Step into Christmas
Let's join together
We can watch the snow fall forever and ever
Eat, drink and be merry
Come along with me
Step into Christmas
The admission's free (particularly this part keeps playing over and over :\ )
Take care in all you do next year
And keep smiling through the days
If we can help to entertain you
Oh we will find the ways S
o Merry Christmas one and all
There's no place I'd rather be
Than asking you if you'd oblige
Stepping into Christmas with me
Step into Christmas
Let's join together
We can watch the snow fall forever and ever
Eat, drink and be merry
Come along with me
Step into Christmas

Can you imagine me singing it maniacally to you? Haha! I miss you ayang. Here's to us, all 2 years plus and more. Never met someone like you, and I know I never will. Intriguing, gentle, patient, passionate, beautiful, charming, funny, nonsensical all jumbled up into my one and only. You never fail to amaze me. *muahss.
The freaky snowman family.. (ayang look, the dog is actually not real. Nothing is.. Ahhhhh)
All you need is trust, and a little bit of pixie dust!
And to think it all started off with this, and random chats, and curiosity, and choice to just let go and let be. The heart has its reason that reason knows nothing of. How true. I love you baby.
